Our Fabrics

  • We carefully select our suppliers to ensure they meet high ethical and environmental standards.

  • Our sequin fabric suppliers are certified by Intertek, who ensure product development, operational and manufacturing process, supply chain management, machinery and human safety, quality and sustainability certification.

  • All our sequin and tulle fabrics are AZO free and meets Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

  • Our recycled fabrics are made in Italy by Carvico using ECONYL yarn, a 100% regenerated yarn made from post industrial plastics, ghost fishing nets and other such nylons.

  • Our recycled fabrics are Oeko- Tex and GRS certified.

Our Manufacturing Process

  • All our garments are made by our seamstresses Elitsa and Cici in Bulgaria.

  • Elitsa works from her home she shares with her husband and little boy, she can choose her own working hours meaning she can balance her family and social lives around her work. Cici runs her own sewing workshop in Sofia, she employs one other maker.

  • We pay up to four times the national minimum wage per hour and constantly check in to ensure our makers are happy.

  • Having such a close relationship with our makers means we can easily change the order quantities according to what sells, meaning that we very rarely get any leftover stock, helping us be more sustainable and cut down on waste.

Our Waste Minimisation

  • We collect all fabric scraps and turn them into crop tops and accessories such as scrunchie.

  • Any pieces too small to make something out of, or sequins that come off during the cutting process get put into our Eco Bricks, alongside all other single use, un-recyclable plastics.

  • These Eco Bricks will be used in the build of a self-sustaining community project that we are making in Bulgaria.
